Yes, you guessed it folks - a NUDE lone bather on our family friendly beach. ;)
Oh, I digress from my post's title.
Here's another stunning full moon rising behind 'Spicegirl's' house this evening.
It was quite wonderful to be able to easily watch the partial lunar eclipse happening tonight but the photos I took did not show it at all. :(
PS: Just recently Blogger has (once again) changed it's format for the dreaded Word Verification.
I discovered this when visiting a few of my favourite Blogs who insist on keeping Word Verification
(which is simply NOT necessary) sorry no offence intended. Anyway it is now even more difficult,
with 8 tries at one Blog, 4 tries at another and 5 tries and 2 knock-backs at yet another!!
I am almost at the stage where I will be joining hundreds of others who now refuse to comment on
Blogs with Word Verification. I will continue to visit but am unsure if I will continue to comment,
such is the frustration of this unnecessary feature.
The ONLY WAY you can tell if you have Word Verification turned ON is if you SIGN OUT of
your own Blog and visit your own Blog as a visitor and have a try at COMMENTING!! If you
find your first try 'easy', you were just plain lucky!
(Get rid of your Word Verification and if you feel its necessary, select the "wont show until after Blog owner approval" instead.) :)
HAPPY BLOGGING!

You sure the sunbather was still alive :o/
ReplyDeleteOh well, either way it would add excitement to your trip especially if, like here, nude sunbathing is not something that happens that often.
We all wished we had our binos!
Deleteso, was the full moon the solar eclipse or the sunbather?! :O
ReplyDeleteHe he, your majesty... :)
DeleteI too wonder if the sunbather is dead? If she is nude she might be offended that she cleared the beach out. LOL
ReplyDeleteHaha Jana, we were her(?) only audience noone else seemed perturbed :)

ReplyDeleteBesides the sunbather the beach is a beautiful. Hope you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteHi Cheri, it IS a lovely unspoilt beach, am doing great and I hope all is quiet on your front!
DeleteYou can't really see much of the bather from this distance! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am totally with you on the word verification!!! I hated when they changed it and now those numbers are so strange. It's like photos of someone's home address tiles. :S I feel bad for not commenting on people's blogs who have it, but I also won't type the darn things in 5 million time.
PS: Sorry for the rant. ;)
No "sorries" needed at 'my place' Halcyon!! Haha, I know you can't see the bather very well huh?! I'll get that darn new camera with a decent zooooom one of these days!
DeletePS: even with my "fancy" camera, I've never been able to get a good moon shot. So well done on yours!
DeleteHaha, this recent one looks like some lunar explosion!! Glad its just my little S.S. :)
DeleteThe moon last night was stunning. I was on the bus to capoeira class when the lady sitting next to me pointed it out. I tried to take a picture but it kept hiding behind our skyscrapers ;)
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel about word verification. It sucks. These days, there's a number and a word. But 8 tries Rose?! I usually give it a couple goes but that's my limit. From there, I move on.
I demand a close up of the nudie.
On our way home we could not pull over as we were in a stream of traffic but the moon was huge behind us and framed between two really, really huge electric power posts and it was a picture to die for!! but in front of us was a pink and red sunset. It was honestly the weirdest thing. YOurs would have looked fabulous among the skyscrapers! Ah you were going to capoeira class huh.... good to hear. Fancy Blogger sticking us with a number as well now! Yep 8 tries.........I really like the person and the blog, and I find it so hard to not have a say! You Typist must know that about me by now.......huh? huh?
DeleteAmen Rose on the Word Verification thing... Luckily, most of my regulars don't use it. Occasionally, a new person will visit --and when I return to their blog, they will have the word verification on. I ask them 'nicely'???? to take off the Word Verification. If they don't, I do not comment on their blog anymore.
ReplyDeleteFunny comment about the NUDE sunbather... When you said it was a 'family friendly' beach, I thought that was an oxymoron... ha ha
Beautiful moon picture.
Hugs,
Betsy
Bwhahaha Betsy, I didn't think of that...........most amusing!! :) For anyone who is reading this it was Betsy who first drew my attention to the fact that I had W. Verification ON. I did not know, as it didn't show up when I was signed in, only when I signed OUT. I'll always thank Betsy for this..
DeleteHi Rose--As always, excellent photos,BUT!! I think I might have tried to at least find out-male or female?? If it was a female I would have asked for a photo for my 'private' collection..If a male, I would have turned and walked away..You are 100% right about word verification got rid of it a while back (I think so anyway)..That moon shot is great!! Talk to you soon---Jim
ReplyDeleteAha, JIm - there lies the mystery - (I know the gender!) And no, you don't have W.V. on anymore! :) And PS you were here at this post commenting while I've been putting up a new post. Weird! (We were 5 minutes apart)
ReplyDeleteI cannot really see if the sun bather is nude! LOL Too far away.
ReplyDeleteSo that's the question really isn't it - is that bather nude or not!?
Deletexx
I hate to admit that I enlarged the photo of the "nude" sunbather. What's an old woman to do for thrills? I agree totally on the word verification. Also, many people who use the word verification also moderate so what's the point? (Sorry - you got me started!)
ReplyDeleteHaha Barb, I wondered if anyone would enlarge!! I know, I know get "us" folk started on W.V. :)
