Silent Sunday and my do I feel old......

I have been very lazy and suffering from blogger's block and still am (and most of you know what that's like!).
I promise to be back posting regularly very soon.

Eleven days ago, my eldest daughter Sherry AKA 'Home-girl' celebrated her 40th birthday. All day I wondered in amazement how it happened - er, well you know what I mean.  She's not only beautiful but a real sport too!  All day she played along with our pranks and silliness - this is one little lady who will never lose the child within.

And may God keep her safe during a tricky operation being undertaken tomorrow.

HAPPY BLOGGING

  1. Sherry looks like a fun person. The apple does not fall far from the tree, after all...
I hope all goes well with the surgery. A short update note here would not be amiss.

    2. Best wishes to your daughter, I hope her op goes well. I think I went into some kind of stupour when my oldest turned 40. Maybe I'll come out of it when the youngest gets there, too. lol

  13. Happy Birthday Home Girl and good luck with your surgery tomorrow. Hey Rose, our eldest daughter is 28 and my baby is 17 and we celebrated 33 years of married life. Sheesh, I don't feel old (i'm 53) but where the heck did that time go?? Let's enjoy each and every day and to hell with feeling old. Nothing like a packet of ole hair dye and a splash of make up to make me feel ok!! Take care. NO worries, and love, Carol (and Stella and Rory)

  14. 22 hours ago! Crikey I'm late, you are probably up to your neck with playdoe or maybe at the beach with your grand kids, I'm sure all will be well with your daughter, still your baby even if she has turned 40, that is an amazing thing to think about I must say.
Look forward to you resuming normal programmes, but enjoy your time off, as I am too.
    Big hugs hon, xxx

  15. Haha, you MUST have been a teenage bride (saying 'pre-teenage' would change it from a compliment to an insult, right?!?!)! Or maybe both of you have miscalculated - your daughter isn't REALLY 40, is she?!?!
